I haven't gotten mine in yet, but I was looking around the engine bay, and on the NNBS there's this huge empty frame spot right by the battery. I'm not sure if I'll ever need it but if I don't it would work perfectly for both ballast. Luckily if I can only get 1 to fit, I got the slims so it shouldn't be to hard to place them.

Looks like when I get home I'll have to do more searching around. I don't want any wires getting caught up in a fan or something lol.

HID placement

I think attaching it to the air box tray and the second battery tray would be best. I'm not sure where yours are on your year truck though.

i stuck the ballasts on my old set on the frame. wasnt to bad but i figured theres a better place for a new set. i dont have any wire extenders so the engine area/battery are out of the question because i know it wouldnt reach. i was thinking maybe this time on the inner lip of the frone bumper where its parallel to the ground. but i might just go back to the frame again and put some wire tubing around all of them and maybe something over the ballasts.
