Hoisting Truck Cap to Ceiling ideas

Hoisting Truck Cap to Ceiling ideas

Postby gliderpilot [OP] » Dec 15 2013, 12:04am

I have had cap on my truck since shortly after I bought the truck, I have
decided I don't want to leave the cap on all the time.

I want to rig up some sort of block/pulley or rope ratchet system to
my ceiling so that I can attach and remove the fiberglass cap by myself.

Anyone got any slick setups for doing this they would like to share?

Some good pictures would be nice and helpful to others also.

Thanks for any input.

Maybe this could help, I would like that too and plan to do that once I get a new house with a barn or much bigger garage

OR, you can rig up some cables for each corner and use this hoist mounted to the ceiling
