How can I make my 04 crew cab look better?

How can I make my 04 crew cab look better?

Postby Soules75 [OP] » Nov 29 2011, 1:33am

I am simply looking for ideas to make my truck look better. I don't have much of a budget to work with, so no new tires, rims, etc. I am just looking for ideas that might cost less than $100.

I don't want to de-badge the truck, and I don't particularly care for billet grills, but other than that I am open to new ideas! Here's a pic...

Theres a few small things I did, those headlights/bumperlights were just under 100 and really make the front end look better without the amber sides. Tailights were also under 100 and they have an l.e.d ring around the brake and turn signal lights

Great suggestions guys! I really like them all! I am getting a flowmaster 40 series muffler for christmas and plan on putting on a chrome tip as well. I think some black tinted side windows and those headlights/bumperlights would really look nice. Also, one of my z71 decals got scratched to hell so I would like to replace the decals with something cooler. I was thinking something like this....http://www.decalking.com/store/product. ... ctid=16335

What do you guys think? Thanks!

The decal would look good on black with the fender flares you have, I just put the 40 series on my 05 crew cab and its sounds mean! I suggest running it out the back though, its pretty loud. I went ahead and ran dual out and got some ractive black chrome tips. Window tint also would really help, probably $50 to get the front done to match the back.

ubu - Do you have any pics of your whole truck? I would like to see the entire truck and see how everything looks together. Also, how does window tinting work? I have seen a film like material online that sticks to the window. Is that all it is or is there a "professional" way to have it done? Lastly, what is the model number of your headlights? They look pretty sweet!

I think the truck loooks pretty awesome as-is. Have you considered some type of step/tube/running board? Not sure if I would do chrome or black on your truck.

Actually I dont have one of the whole truck, I just did most of that the past 2 weeks. Ill take a couple tomorrow in the light. I would suggest having a shop do the tint, everyone ive ever gone to offered a lifetime warranty, that way if it bubbles or peels they fix it free. Headlights I got off ebay, I think these were them but you can shop around onthere and maybe find some cheaper http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-Silverado ... 1265134329
