Its hard to fine chrome that will last in any salt! Hope you find one at a good price to replace that one!

Go to canadian tire and get some rocker guard, It looks good on that beige colour. And then you don't have to worry about scratches either

There is a product called AUTOSOL, its German made I believe, I used it on my 79 Suzuki Bike, worked wonders, took surface rust off, lessened the appearance of the deep stuff. Smells something horrible when its working and it takes some elbow grease, but id use it again in a heartbeat...made most of the chrome on there look new, it even took some of the coloring off of the exhaust pipes!!! Its pricey, I attached a link below, IMO its worth a try on yours....just giving you another option! Good Luck!!!

https://autosol.com/shop/category/auto-care/ I used the stuff called Metal Polish, its 14.95 a tube, took me 2.5 tubes. Didnt use the rust remover so I cant vouge for it, but I can on the Metal Polish.

We live the same problem every winter here in Buffalo, N.Y. My '98 Silverado bumpers still look like new, though. All I do in the fall is clean them up and then put on a heavy coat of wax and let it dry, but don't wipe it off. Touch up throughout the winter as needed. Clean off and shine up in the spring.
Unfortunately, your bumpers look a little far gone. Good luck.
