I recently joined the forums and also recently purchased a 2005 Sierra 1500. Its got 2 holes in the front bumper that are too close together to use for a license plate, so I'm assuming there is a secondary plastic bracket that attaches to the bumper to hold a front plate... does anyone have one or know the GM part number to order one? Also try www.lmctrucks.com. They carry the bracket you need. I order from them quite often. They have excellent products, great service, and good prices. You can also request a catalog that has all of the exploded shots of your truck's different systems, which helps when doing the work yourself. Great reading on evenings when there's nothing on TV.
