New in line vent shields put on yesterday. Also the best band on the planets sticker for the back window, the wife was not pleased! Oh well my Black Beauty has been tagged: Black Label Society!

Did you happen to take any pics while you were installing? What are these sticking to? I have always used the ones that stick directly to the paint. Never had to worry bout them since I always traded up or off every 3 - 4 years, but I'm hoping this one's a keeper.

Sorry no pics during installation. The tape sticks to the inside of the door where the glass roles up into. If you look at the door and see the rubber gasket that seals the window in the up position the visor fits into that spot. Your window actually pushes against the visor when it seals. I know the pics aren't great but if you compare to yours they may help!

I bought them at a local auto parts store, they get them from a supplier, don't know who. $56 plus tax.
Yep that motto reminds me of this:

Those are what I'm looking for. I wish I could see them up close to get a good idea of the install. I too have used some that sitck to the paint or close to it and those sucked, that tape unstuck itself in less than a year and I know I cleaned the area real well with the alcohol pads. I ended up using a real good superglue type stuff that stays flexible to keep them on. The ones you have look like they are on to stay.

I put mine on so long ago I can't remember if they're in channel or on the paint. But those look really good.
