Just bought my truck a few weeks ago, its a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 LTZ EXT. Trying to figure out some stuff to do to it. Was looking into a grill guard http://www.autoanything.com/grille-guar ... 14822.aspx . And then possibly some running boards, I thought the black looked better than chrome http://www.autoanything.com/nerf-bars/6 ... 05896.aspx . Also wanted to get yalls input on a CAI (cold air intake) didnt know if anyone had better results with one brand over another. Any other ideas would be great. Thanks

I do not like grill gaurds on stock trucks. Just my opinion. If you lift it 6" then maybe.

Congrats on the new truck! Here is where the fun starts. In the exterior section, each color truck has a "roll call". Go to the search and look for your color truck's roll call topic. Browse through there and check out all of the specimens lol.

Pimpin' out your whip is an individual experience. Just like the poster above doesn't like brush guards. Many people do, many people don't. I think they look cool. Its all the look you're goin for. But, browsing the appropriate colors roll call will give you a bunch of ideas and you can take the ones you like and pass on those you don't!

As for a CAI, I like the K&N ones. I ran K&N on all of my dirt racecars and never had to worry about dirt getting in the engine. I trust them, great quality, and they work.

The grill guard was more for protection than anything. Deer are a major problem around here and I already hit one within 3 days of getting my trailblazer.

Straight pipes. 6 inch lift kit. Tint Windows. Take emblems and decals off and smoke the taillights. Toolbox/tonnaeu cover/rail bars. Yes a brush guard would be cool too. K&N air filter. so many options!
