Pinstripe to match the Z71 logo?

Pinstripe to match the Z71 logo?

Postby beaubob [OP] » Mar 15 2012, 6:12am

I am looking to do a red/silver pinstripe to match the Z71 logo down the side along the top edge of the fenders. Anyone out there done this? My '11 is the dark blue and I think it would look great. Any pics?

I have some silver metallic 3M pinstripes on my '03 white Z71. The truck sits out in the sun all day and the pinstripe has faded. Maybe you'll have better luck if you don't go metallic.

And here it is. I went to a local shop that did decals and stripes for the local Chevy dealer, I wanted the best chance to match the colors. The silver was not to hard to find, but that redish orange was hard to find a match, he had to order the color. I think he did well, I really like it. Let me know what you think. I have gotten several positive comments on it already.

Thanks, I think this would look good on most any color too. The red really pops against the dark blue on this one.

I've been debating whether or not to peel off my Z71 decals, but seeing how good this matches up I might just keep them.

Wow, something so simple adds a really nice touch to your truck! I don't think it would look good on just any truck but with your color scheme, this is great!

Cool look...ordinarily not a fan of pinstripes, but the dual that flows into the Z71 sticker really pops.
