Post pictures of your tinted windows

Didn't see a thread about this so I figured I'd make one. I'm getting tint done this week and would like to see some pictures of what you have done to your truck. I am going at least 20% on the front...the back I'm going to have the guy tint over the factory tint so it gets down to 5-10%, whatever percentage he needs to put over factory to achieve that.

If you could post a profile shot of your truck with tint and percentages, that'd be great. Regular, extended and crew cabs are welcome to post!

Here is mine. 40% full windshield tint, 15% front two, and equivalent of 5% on the back three. I believe they put 20% on all the windows which made the fronts meter at 15 and the backs meter at 5. They tested it with the meter and it is true.

:o
Sharp looking truck man...I don't really care for red all that much but with the black front end you have...really sets it off!

And 40% on the front! :o I'm not even going to push my luck more than I already am by exceeding the legal limit on the sides. I know the guy I'm having tint my truck (has been doing it on his own for 10+ years) had some crazy dark amount on the front windshield and I remember trying to see him through the windshield while he was sitting inside and I couldn't even see him. It was DARK.

I went with 20% in the front and left the back at factory 20%. My neighbor did 20 on the front and 5% over the back factory he hates it because at night he cannot see out his windows

I have to roll my windows down to back into parking spots and my shed at night. I can't see much out of the 20%. Plus the tinted tail lights does not help. But it all looks good if I do say so myself.

Thanks for starting this thread, JB. I'm looking to get mine tinted this week and have been wanting to see some examples.

PhiGam, I have the W/T version of your truck and have been thinking about getting black wheels but wasn't sure how it would look. Well, I'm pulling the trigger now. Your truck looks great!

And TXWhiskey, your truck looks great too. Dang, I'm getting all inspired now. I had better get on it!

I tinted the front 20% and tinted over the factory to equal out to 10% on the back 3. I wish i had gone 10% all the way around, but it serves the purpose of keeping the interior cooler and not letting anyone see in quite as easily.

5% front sides & eyebrow. 15% added to back three windows. yes, it's dark at night, but if I turn off the headlights, it makes it much better to see while backing up. However, if im backing up in unfamiliar territory, then I do have to crack my windows. Ill upload better photos when I get home and take some.
