does anybody know if the power folding mirrors will fold manually with out damaging the mirrors. i want to get signal mirrors but they all seam to be power folding as well

i have them. I wouldn't do it. Because if you bump them, it can make it seem loose. I thought mine was loose when I first got it and then read that you use the power folding 2-3 times and it realigns them.

They are made to break away in the event that they get hit. Not sure how they would lock back with out the switch on the door as the mirror has to cycle once to lock back in place.

i was checking as i jumped on this deal on ebay and doing checking on line found other fourms and only need switch from used truck with dl3 mirrors and powerfold will work as the program is in the switch new one is not programed
