Spray-in bedliner

Postby lwelles [OP] » Jul 16 2010, 4:33am

Hello all,
I just bought a 2010 Z71 one month ago. I am going to put on a spray in liner, but I am not sure about doing the bed rails or not. I am looking for photos of what they look like with and without. My truck is black, so that would be helpful. can you send me pictures of your spray in liner?
Thanks everyone!

I did a spray in liner on my 04 colorado, it was money well spent, as in thats the most prone area to get scratched..loading and unloading over the side of the bed..and being black u will never see it anyways

spray in liners are nice, they never get loose and having the rails sprayed on will assure nice protection on the sides that will never flap in the highway wind when the tape breaks loose!!

Cheers,
Dave

Okay, so now that we know that the spray in bed liner is good, which brand? I have also contemplated doing this as my bed is already scratched up pretty bad from 4 years of previous owner use. Anyone's input on this is appreciated.

Everything that I have read says Line X is the best. I am getting one Monday. I have known a few people with Rhino linings though and they were extremely happy.

koolz71 - if it flaked, did the company not do anything about it? I thought it had a lifetime warranty, or something like that.

Nyron - if you don't mind me asking, what are you paying for it? Are you getting over rail or under rail? Is it the color match or black?

Thanks

It does have a lifetime warranty, im not sure if it was just the dealer or the way they do it, the actaully have that stuff in a can, and what they would do to my truck is cut out the part that was flaking, take the spray can, then just spray it on..looked really bad, it wasnt uniform at all. They said thats how they do it. Then what they had spray painted on started to flake again this winter. Well before i could take it in, i rolled my truck..i found some pix of the bed..cant find any yet of the crappy patch job but let me look
