Welcome to the site - glad you like the site and your new truck!

I happen to love my Truxedo tonneau. It is soft and rolls up - the bows are in pockets on the cover and stay in place nicely when rolled. It also locks. I can open or close it up from one side of the truck.

There are many other opinions on other tonneaus here.

i wouldnt recommend the soft style.. ive done a whole bunch of research and for me the only way to go was the EXTANG ENCORE. its low profile, three folding sections - opens back and front and comes off is a breeze. Its lockable - you can see demo on you tube... i paid 1K all in Seattle. Its a new model ...

Coogs, like I said there are a lot of opinions here. Depending on your needs/desires, there are plenty of good quality soft or hard covers. For me, the hard covers are always in the way, and take up too much room when retracted or off the truck.

I used to have a pace Edwards roll top, it banged it's self loose and took up too much room in the front, then I had the hard style on my avalanche nice but you have to store the panels when not in use, I now have a sled deck so that kinda covers everything lol but a buddy of mine has a truexdo and I love it, simple easy and to the point but not very secure lol

I dont like tonneau covers anyways...but they are nice...i see the post is also wondering about vent shades, you said you stoped into summit and bought weather tech floor mats well thats the brand of all brands my man. i have the vent shades threw them and they are awesome. i have the inchannel vent shades they sell. not the ones that go on the ouside of the truck with 3M tape these slide in the channel and are concelled and hidden they look great and perform the same
[gallery][/gallery]mud ruts, skinnin bucks, spiting snuff, country boy all the way threw

I have a BakFlip HD tri-fold hard cover and its great. It flips all the way up against the rear window, so if you need complete bed access you can have it. Ingenious design, easy to use and looks great on the truck. I prefer a hard cover tonneau versus a soft, but to each their own. Welcome to the site.
