The first design is the same as the tow mirrors found on the 2007.5 to 2013, the second design is the ones with the amber LED lights on the body and red on the mirror glass.

ih82plow wrote:So I have read thru I think ever post about tow mirrors, What I think I have found is that they do not power fold.

I have a 2016 2500HD crew cab with LTZ package. I have small power fold with the blinkers in the mirrors and I think heated.

I see had I ordered the truck with towing mirrors they would be power fold. If I order a replacement set from GM they say they are not power fold. What is the correct answer. can I get a set of Gm towing mirrors with power fold

This is from another member from another forum.

Passenger Mirror - 23351798 (Power Fold, Turn Signal, Chrome)

I have the tow mirrors on my 2500HD and they leave a lot to be desired. I really wish they were just a full length standard mirror and I could then put a small stick on convex mirror in the corner. The split mirrors are not the greatest in tight situations. A mirror trying to be a Class 8 West Coast style and failing miserably. I have been trying to find a replacement that would have the same housing but be a one piece mirror, but to no avail.

I just bought a pair of tow mirrors that was listed, they have the led turn signal. They worked great but when i go to unlick my doors the fuse for the door unlick blows, in woundering is it bc when i hit unlock the leds in the mirror flash as well? I mean its only 14 extra total LEDs and shouldnt make it blow. Instead if a 15 like recommended i put all the way up to a 25 and it STILL blew!! And ideas or suggestions???
