has anyone tried the lampgaurd product from weatertech? I just ordered floormats and saw these looks like they could help with chips on headlights but I would like feedback from someone that has tried them
Thanks

yes I thought that was alot also that's why I was wondering if it was worth it to save the headlight lens from rock chips etc.

I would think the clear covers from like GTS and such would be better. I'm getting the black ones for mine....

I've seen similar ones advertised for other makes/models and thought they were pretty pricey for what they are. I'm guessing the plastic will turn cloudy or yellow before the stone chips cause enough damage, and these covers won't stop or slow down the color change or cloudiness, so I never seriously considered buying them.
If you want to do what you want to do, you have to do what you have to do.

In another thread we discussed applying chemicals (wax, Rain-X) to the headlights. The general thought is to keep them waxed. That may help reduce the yellowing.
As much as I love weathertech products, this does not seem like a value-added modification to me.
