Wheel Question

Wheel Question

Postby philbun [OP] » Oct 01 2011, 9:52am

I have a 2011 with Chrome OEM 18s are they just covers over a aluminum wheel. I saw a tread on here about that but can't seem to find it now Just curious what the thoughts were about this. A link to that thread would help. Ps I have had no issues with the wheels. Thanks

I guess they are covers. Why did GM make them like that. Cost issues I guess. I hope they hold up good. Any thoughts

Yeah, those factory chrome covers are usually pretty durable. I wouldn't be to worried. Not only that, you have a bumper to bumper warranty, so if you notice anything, take them back.
