Yes, it can. Has been out for a couple of months now. It does help but it does depend on which software your trans has as a stock. Some have seen great improvements where others have seen some. I myself have seen some improvement. The best results I have is when I drive it as a sports car it does great. If I'm just cruising is when I still see some sloppiness just not as often with the tune.

Diablew tune and 8speed.

Postby ferraiolo1 » Apr 21 2017, 12:45am

Who does it for 8 speed? I know blackbear still says 2017 8 speed tunes are for engine only. The 2017 6 speed cost more Han the 2016. And Diablo isn't supporting 2017 yet.

Hptuners can but the cost is stupid. Also I believe trifecta has a solution as well. It's still getting sorted out and the operating software of the trans module in the new trucks is hell to get around.

I believe you are good then. There is still a lot of confusion on the 2017 support yet, so I'm on the"wait and see" boat haha.

My bad, i traded in the 2500 and can't figure out to change my sig on my phone. Plan on doing a tune this summer and wasnt sure if lew or bb would be best for the transmission. Thanks aga5
