03 Sierra leather install

Postby Guy4oj [OP] » Apr 06 2011, 1:53am

Im new to this forum, but from a few of the other posts on this site has helped me install leather seats in my truck. So thank you all for your help. Below is a pic of my truck. Everything is in and done except the door panel inserts. I havnt had enough energy or guts to tackle this yet. This project wasnt as much fun as i thought it would have been. It wasnt hard, just more of a pain in the butt. Seats were replaced using a katzkin replacement leather kit. let me know what you think!

looks good, the dealer installed that same brand on my wifes new Kia Optima. They did it for free just so we would buy from them and not the dealer next to our house. After reading around this is really good quality leather, was nicer than the factory leather I think.

Good job on the seats, they look great. Are they as comfortable as they look?

thanks everybody! Free install would have def been the way to go! I only paid $400 for the whole kit which i think is fair, so i didnt mind putting in alittle elbow grease.

.... and they are more comfortable than they look..ha great product!

Looks like it was quite the project, seeing the front seats on the floor, out of the truck. No wonder your ready to take a break. Turned out great. I think you got your money's worth and then some. Nice ;)

Did you put heater units in them while you had them apart?
Dang it's hot!
