Adding Steering Wheel Audio Controls

I swapped the whole wheel because I wanted the leather wrapped wheel and it came with the controls and harness already installed.

So you when you bought the steering wheel, part #25853070, from GM Parts DIrect if came 'fully loaded' so to speak with cruise and audio buttons and the harness?

I think as long as you have cruise control and cd in the radio you should be good to go. My truck is a LS crew cab 4x4.

I know you bought the wheel from GM Parts Direct. I called a dealer with the same part number you gave in the thread, 25853070, and they told me that was only the wheel - no buttons, harness, just a wheel. Can you prove that the part number does in fact include a 'fully loaded' wheel - buttons and harness.

Also, for the wheel you ordered, did it come with an airbag?

The wheel does not come with an airbag and if you look in my album you will see the wheel. The dealer parts people are not always able to read their own catalog.

So let me ask one last time to confirm. When you bought the wheel from GM Parts Direct, 25853070, it came with cruise buttons, audio buttons and the harness needed to install?
