I have a 2000 Sierra 1500 SLT with the full center console with the ridiculous separate tape deck. i have an after market head unit so i don't need the tape deck. Was wondering if anyone had already tried to fit a CB in this tape deck slot. If they have, does anyone have any pictures to show how they did it and what size CB they used.

i havent seen that before but its a good idea....i would say the only cb i know of that would even remotly have a chance at fitting in there would be a little cobra 19 or along that line. but keep in mind, putting that cb in the console covers the speaker on the bottom of the cb, so you would have to get an external cb speaker to hear it...
