Well the dash on my 07 has started to crack, and after reading other post's on here I see I'm not the only one with the problem. I would like to know if there is any way to fix it without using a carpet dash cover or replacing the dash.

Idk a fix for it but ur definately not the first ti have this happen! Was there any conditions you think created or helped it crack? Parked in sun regularly? Do u think a windshield cover would prevent this? Or do you think its a vibration thing?

It most likley was the sun and heat here in Louisiana, the truck doesn't know what a garage is and I have only put meguires on it. Also I don't use a windshield shade.

It seems a bit early for a dash to crack from the sun, I mean come on its an 07 .You would think a dash should last longer than that. got any pics ? . I think I'll pick up a sun shade.........

My 2010 silverado has 2 cracks around the air bag, took it in today they are replacing it under warranty.
