Dome Light

Postby ramthis [OP] » Nov 09 2012, 2:26am

Help. I can't get my dome lights to work on my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD - new style. When I open the door they don't come on. I got a new switch and it still doesn't work. I have the computer control set to a 30 second delay but nothing. The button to turn them off/on is set to on. Could I have gotten a faulty switch? Any suggestions?

Possibly a fuse blew out. check either under the hood or when you open the door there's another fuse panel there.

I know the bcm fuse can also disable domes if blown... Ide try bypassing the switch to eliminate it as the issue!

I doubt, the bcm would have all kinda of issues going on! Did you bypass the switch yet? Ide run continuity on the harness also...

The "lach door" would have to be bad on both doors. Also if the radio cuts of when you open the door to get out its fine...
