Door weather stripping

Door weather stripping

Postby country1911 [OP] » Aug 16 2012, 2:58am

I am looking for replacement weatherstripping for my 07 NNBS Extended cab as the originals are fairly torn up. Gmpartsdirect does not list a part number for this however I got this pic from their site. I believe it is number 3 in the pic. Image

Does anyone have a source or a part number for this? I need both sides if possible. Thanks!

It seems that the only thing I can find is universal weatherstripping, which I have had bad experiences with. I was hoping for something OEM quality or better if anyone has any suggestions. I looked on LMC, but I absolutely hate the way their website operates. I did order a catalog however. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just flipped through the whole LMC truck guide for 99-12 trucks and didn't see any door stripping. I know when I ordered from LMC with my 1990 Silverado you could get it, but there were a few things I remember seeing in the old catalog that I didn't see in the newer one. I have some pretty good hookups in the parts industry so I'll see if I can find you a PN in the next couple days.

That would be excellent. Thank you!

FWIW, I did contact my dealer about it, but got lots of blank stares and "that's gotta be special order." Never could find a part number but somehow they quoted me "about $150 a piece." Needless to say I left without what I went for.

I did find them on RockAuto, about 28 USD each. They're under exterior accesories "door seal/ weatherstripping"
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframe ... rstripping
I don't think it's a universal fit, but I'm not sure, the picture is just of a coil of weather stripping.

I did some looking on rock auto and it appears that the listed weatherstripping is universal stuff. The stuff on my truck tucks weird and interfaces with another rubber strip that ties the seal to the interior trim and headliner. I may do some calling around to some bigger dealerships tomorrow to try to find a part number.

Re: Door weather stripping

Im looking for the same part for my 09 GMC Sierra. The driver door weather stripping is rusted pretty bad and I can't find it anywhere online and the dealer wants $136 for a new one. Any ideas on where to get one cheaper?
