Few noise problems

Few noise problems

Postby GasStationLuvsMe [OP] » May 31 2011, 2:32pm

Weird sound comming out around the steering wheel and heater control buttons, It's like a constant noise, almost sounds like when you turn on a garden hose and there's air in the hose it like spudders,

The second sound is my steering wheel when i turn it squeaks, but a low tone squeak ,like it's missing grease or something but it only happens when i turn
Just a head ups, every ball join and tie rods have been changed so it can't be those that make the noise

if you guys could help me diagnosed these noise,i could get these fix

thanks

so i if anybody could help me finding these problems so i can fix them

Turn off the AC, does the first noise stop? The second noise could be the lower rubber seal that is under the hood where the steering shaft exits the steering column.

I the same sterring wheel noise too. But it comes and goes with the seasons. I believe Izn is right; it vibrates/behaves like a piece of rubber and not hard steel.
Marine because.

Spray some wd40 on it. Do NOT use SILICONE! It will ruin your oxygen sensors!!!!!!!!

No. Oxygen sensors have an air reference area and if you spray silicone anywhere near them, it will contaminate them. Trust me on this.
