I have a dark gray/graphite leather interior and am in need of a new armrest. My plan has been to troll the junkyards and eBay until I find one. Well I have found one, but it is way out of my budget after Christmas. Upon further searching I found both a driver side and passenger side in a light gray that are within my budget. How bad would that combo look? I could probably sell my passenger side armrest as it is in very good condition, I just want the 2 to match.

With what I get from the passenger side one, or when I save up enough, I have thought about adding some 3M di noc accents in a matching light silver carbon fiber. Could that be done and still be classy? I don't want to end up in the yet to be created worst interior mods thread... I think as my interior is now it is very dark. I think some light accents would add some contrast.

The other option, which is more pricey, I have considered is getting one of the vinyl kits from autoanything.com. The benefit to those are they are precut, but I may not use all of them as it may be too much.
