Interior storage

Postby buckethead [OP] » Apr 18 2010, 2:11pm

Just bought my 09 Silverado, and besides the HUGE center console and small glove box, there is no storage for small items. Any ideas?

I found another one that is for a single cab. I think it is pretty cool.

I found a quick and easy solution to the cavernous storage area under the arm rest in the front...I went to Target and bought a desk organizer (black) which is about 6x8, attached it to the upper section of the storage area with velcro. Done. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Personally, I mounted a toolbox with 'J' bolts to the bed. Good safe storage that takes up space in the bed instead of the cab. You could even go with a low pro if you are concerned about looks. But, then you can't slide lumber or drywall under the box. Buckethead rocks!

I found those online yesterday - and although pricey ($180) they seem to provide a custom-fitting solution. I tried using the plastic bins I had in my old truck, but with no flat floor surface, they slide around and were not a workable solution.
