Buckle Up

Make It CLICK To Be Safe

Postby In2Trux [OP] » Feb 11 2011, 4:48am

When I buckle up, I find I have to try a couple of times in order to make it Click :x
Sometimes I have to force it to stay buckled. Even the passenger side is difficult.

Is anybody else having this problem with their New Body Style truck?

No issues here.
I always give a slight pull on the belt to make sure it is latched. Just a force of habit...I've done it for years.

Might need to get those replaced if they aren't latching easily.
Dang it's hot!

my 99 is the same way. I always give it a quick tug but unless it clicks it can still come out. Found that out the hard way when I was wheelin and smacked my dome on the roof when the belt came unlatched.

Wow can someone say "recall"? That is not real safe to smack your head on the roof because the belt came unlatched. Glenn you should probably do something about those seatbelt latches.

Compare the male end of the bad one to one of the other good ones. OR...... see if the buckle from the right side does the same to the left side femal end. I have no idea if it will stretch over there but I'm just trying to help.
