My mirrors wont move anymore, just looking for opinions as to why and what options I have. Is it the motors or what.

Oddly enough, I had that problem with my driver's side mirror back in November. When I was at the shop, the service adviser took a look at it and tried to do it manually with his hand. I am thinking that he thought it was just not catching. Well, needless to say, it didn't do the job and he said I would just have to replace the mirror. The other day when I pulled into Sonic Drive In, for shits and giggles, I pushed the mirror retract button because I was close on the passenger side to the hanging menu and low and behold, they both pulled inward. I'm not saying it's a miracle, but they were both working that day.

Can you hear the motor in there running? Do they just kinda skip up and down like the gears aren't quite catching? Have you tried budging them with your hand to see if you can get it to catch?

I just tried moving them using the buttons, they moved a very small amount when I ran my finger around the outside edge of the button, other than that there was no movement or noise.
