awesome. should look good. if you go with the crushed velvet i would probably just glue it onto the stock headliner fabric since i have never seen it come with the foam backing needed on headliner material. and dont go over board on the amount of glue you spray on, want just enough to make it stick but to much can bleed thru the material that ive used previously. my truck in in line for a paint job this summer and now you got me wondering what im gonna do with my interior to make it better match my paint scheme. interior is currently tan, truck will be painted black, sliver, and green. so definatlly got to get rid of the tan and go darker. all leds will be green inside and outside. to many ideas and not enough money the story of my life!!!

No problem there. You just hook the leds to your speaker wires. If they dont work the first time try reversing your wires cause the pos has to be hooked to pos and neg to neg or the leds wont work

Rebel, this may sound like a stupid question but does that require stripping the wires?

Yeah you will need to strip the insulation off the wires where ever you want to tie in the wires from the leds. I cleaned my truck out today so ill start working on the leds tomorrow. Ill take some pics for you of just how you should do it

What you have to take apart will all be determined by just where you want to put the leds and where you want to tap into your speaker wires at. But ill take plenty of pics of where I do everything.

Re: re-doing my interior

Postby tattedncursed87 » May 19 2012, 11:06pm

This is my very first post on this site....as I'm currently redoing my whole interior,I thought this would be a perfect first post  mine is beige truck is factory gold...I have used the rustoleum vinyl paint on my Aurora so I did with the 99 silverado...I'm very low on money due to wrk being close for a extremely unfortunate death...I bought one can and it covered the door panel perfectly...the whole can was used...I found out the panels are vinyl so had to spent the 8 bucks a can..used flat black and gloss white on the armrest...followed up on the switch panel w gloss white from krylon fusion.....got the passenger door finished....went on to do the whole dash..everything I wanted painted (excluding. The air bag cover) I sprayed that in the truck(shoulda used vinyl but I ran out so I used fusion n it stuck well...I used fusion on the whole dash besides the handle (vinyl white)my vents are white....I need to get fusion red to do the red accents ....my headliner I will wrap with red velvet (not crushed )....3m adhesive spray glue is the best...but iv got away with Elmer's spray from Walmart quite well...did a old buick in blk jean denim material .....I love custom...if I can make it stand out more than others I will...haha....after I fix the rust she's headed to my father n laws to get sprayed black with red flakes...some airbrushing as well but idk what to do yet...also swaping my frnt clip with a 03-06 before paint
