I recently picked up my 2011 Silverado LT (about 2 weeks now, and Love it!). It has the 60/40 bench seat in front & I need some ideas for a trash can/bag. In the Trailblazer we had and the Aura we have, we have a nylon bag that has a loop we can hand from the shift lever on the center console. The bag hangs on the passenger side, and works great for most of the trash (gum wrappers, post it notes, straw wrappers, etc..). I have looked around a little but I am not sure what would work well on the floor. Does anyone here use a trash can or what would your suggest.

I bought a container that is for a gallon jug of windshield washer fluid and has an additional little compartment in it and set it on the center "hump" and use that for my garbage, it doesn't slide around and looks pretty good also.

That's a good idea. I've had my truck less than 2 weeks and I'm still in the "NO EATING and NO TRASH in my truck!" phase. It's driving the wife and kids crazy.

I haven't got there yet. In my last truck I found suckers and gum stuck UNDER the back seats. Kids are great, huh?

I've had mine since 10/4/2010. The rule is still "no eating in the truck". Kids can bring a pop can or water bottle, but only if they take it out when they get out of the truck. Nothing left behind....
