Well, the factory speakers are 5.25" round, so they are going to need some work go get them in there.

Oops didn't see that. Thought it was a 07-13 truck. But yeah you'll need to make the opening a little bigger.

If it were me I'd pull the trim panels and take a look at what I had to work with it.

That being said... Personally I wouldn't bother with the rear speakers. I'm an SQ car stereo guy and I prefer the sound up front where I'm sitting. No one ever sits in the back of my truck and even if they did, having a speaker blaring into your ankle isn't what I would consider quality listening. I originally ran my 4 JL speakers off of my Pioneer HU along with a 10" subwoofer and 300W amp. While it sounded good I wasn't completely happy with the setup (are we ever?). Later I added a 125W/channel amp to power the front speakers and kept the rear speakers connected to the HU. With the fader centered I can fade all the way to the front speakers alone and I can't tell if the rear speakers are playing or not. Unless you're running a surround sound setup where delay can be added to the rear speakers I don't really think they're worth having. If I didn't already have the co-axials I installed in back to begin with I never would have bothered with them. And if they were to ever blow I wouldn't waste any money replacing them. They just don't contribute enough to the overall sound to matter.

Yes they will work, stock is 4X6, and you can even manage a shallow mount 6X9 back there. Thats the course I ran in my 01. You should make a baffle out of at least 1/4 in material though and use a speaker that dosnt have a high front profile.
