I am ordering a CB radio with a PA system this weekend, want to make sure I have everything I need. I will be taking it to a mobile electronics shop to have it professionally installed since it won't be a whole lot and if something goes wrong they will fix it. They install CB/PA but don't sell them at their store, so I'm ordering everything I need online. Here is my cart so far on CB World:

EDIT: the magnet mount comes with an 18' coax cable

That looks like that should be everything you would need.

I would reccomend a Wilson 1000 antenna. Other than that, it looks like you have everything in your cart that you need.

What should I look for in an antenna? Also what is the length of the antenna good for? Range?

I just know I have used the Wilson 1000's in the past and they did excellent. They are available in several different mounting configurations as well. Not only do they work great, but they look good too. Their mast is a long one, however.

That is a huge Pa speaker. i have this one and it was hard finding a place under the bumper where it would fit.

Just placed my order a couple hours ago. I got a smaller speaker (5"), shouldn't really matter though since I don't plan on getting an amplifier and it will only put out the legal 4W anyway. I'm just hoping the PA won't be quiet. I'm excited though.
