Factory Bose navigation system

Postby Brendon37 [OP] » Apr 25 2011, 11:28pm

I'm thinking about buying a Factory Bose navigation head unit to put in my 06 silverado. I have the Bose system already and I just want the factory touch screen unit. Will this be plug and play? I don't plan on using the navigation feature. Also my truck doesn't have the on star system. Will this play a part in it working in my truck? I'm posting a link of the head unit.

The Bose systems consist of speakers and amps thats it. They dont manufacture automotive head units ! There are a few optional head units you could have in your truck now. Depending on what actual head unit you have it's possible. I don't work at a GM Dealership but I have been in the mobile electronics business for 22 years and work in the business for 33.
Send me a few pics of the rear of your original head unit and compare it to the units you plan on purchasing
let me know I can help you make it happen
