im tryin to find out the best route for a sub box in my 06 1500 silverado ,i dont have much room under the back seats and it seems that the boxes ive found are for 2500 and 3500 any ideas iwish my back seat was like the older models...thanks

I have a 2009 CC. I ended up raising the rear seat 1" with blocks and designed my own speaker box that is 1.5 cu.ft. and holds a 10" sub that is that is tuned to 35hz.
I don't like the boxes they sell that fit under the seat without lifting it. I don't think it gives the speaker optimum sound quality. My advice would be custom build one. But that's my opinion.

I lifted my seat up 1" as well and built my own box for 2 12" rockford fosgate stage 1s. I do not have the demmensions of the box i built it back in 08 when I got the truck.
