1988 GMC Sierra 4x4

Postby 1988GMC4x4 [OP] » Jul 24 2012, 7:29am

Hi I am an owner of a 1988 GMC Sierra 4x4 with a 4.3 V6 with a 5 speed. I've had this truck for 6 years and since I joined the Marine Corps back in 06' it has sat in my yard untouched till recently. I got it out worked on it, threw roughly 300 dollars into it and it runs like a champ. My question is what years of the Sierra can the grill be changed and can it also be changed with the Silverado of the same years? The grill it has now is half gone and I want to replace it with a used one but am not sure if I can only use a 1988 Sierra grill or other years.

I'm thinking any of the same body style can be used (1988-1999 obs). You might check out www.lmctruck.com . They probably have a replacement grill that does not cost too much.
