Back in a Silverado!

Postby adrummingdude [OP] » Jul 31 2011, 9:17pm

My biggest bonehead car move was trading in a paid off 2000 4WD silverado for a not paid off BMW several years ago. I'm proud to say that you can once again count me as one of yours! 8-)

I got the 5.3 liter motor, 3.41 rear end, spray on bed liner, power everything, adjustable pedals, bluetooth, back up assist...really, is this still a truck?

Mods I have done so far include tint, Flowmaster 50 series exhaust (I tried a 40 series first, but it was too loud for my commute), a Pioneer touch screen Navigation stereo, JL Audio Component speakers, Alpine amp and Sony sub. I think I'm done modding, and am just going to enjoy driving it.

A 2000 (or so) 745il. I bought it a couple years old and the thing was a nightmare. Beautiful car, but wait until you see what parts cost! That experience has jaded me, perhaps unfairly, towards german cars.
