Welcome to the site and congrats on the new truck...as mentioned, ground connections and throttle body / TPS sensor are very common problems. I had it happen to my baby too! It's a quick fix and will be under warranty. If the dealers didn't know to check for this first they aren't very well versed in Silverado/Sierra service, might want to take to a different dealership.
