Hello everybody!

Newbie from Texas here.

I have been lurking this forum for about two weeks now due to the fact that I will be purchasing a Silverado very soon (I Hope!) And so I made an account so I could view people's pictures, and I decided that I might as well post up and say hi!

A little Background:
I have never owned a GM product before (I have family that sells Mazdas) haha.
So up until now it has been Mazda's for me! I am selling my current import (06 Mazdaspeed 6) to afford the down payment on an 07 or newer Silverado/Sierra.

This forum has been so helpful. I already have a pretty extensive (and expensive haha) list on what to do when I finally have it!

Not yet. I have yet to find the "perfect one" that I can afford (College Student).

But my family member in the car business is looking for me.

I also own a Mazda SLOWtege (protege) so I am driving that beater around until my truck comes along.

Hopefully I will be able to find it within a couple of weeks.

I know I definitely want the 5.3L and I am thinking white for color...but who knows! If the perfect truck comes along that happens to be another color, I won't be tooooooo picky.
