Just found this forum and after reading up a bit decided to join up. I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500hd SLT 4x4 with the 8.1 and the Allison trans. It does not get driven much but when it does it never fails to get the job done. I look forward to reading through more posts on here. There are little problems over the years and some questions I have always had and never gotten an answer I felt good about. I am willing to bet I will find answers here.

One quick question is that I have lost my original owners manual and packet. Or at least lets just say I have not found wherever they have been stored away. Did the Sierra 2500hd models get a special owners manual or was it just the standard Sierra owners manual? I cannot even remember what it looked like but have found several on eBay.

Thanks guys. Still reading a bunch on here. Lots of great information. Ooodave I have been to that site and have downloaded the file. Just thought I remember my owners manual having a cover that specified HD but I really could be remembering that wrong. Guess I will swing by the dealer and see what happens.
