New from Houston

Postby SHSUsilverado [OP] » Jan 17 2012, 1:45am

I just bought an 08 TX Edition and am in love with it. Just got rid of my 01 Ranger that I had all of the way through HS and College...I'll miss that truck but on to bigger and better things. Looking to get my exhaust done in the next few weeks and maybe some HID's for the foglights. We'll see. Looking forward to learning alot on this site

why would you go back and get the 8000K? I was looking at the 6000K. Did you want something a tad bit more blue?

For the record, HID's "temperature" does not equate to brightness, just to color. The brightest (most lumens) are in the 4300 to 5000k range.

Again, welcome to the site!

Welcome fellow Texan! I'm from around Kingsville! Congrats on the new truck. I miss my old truck like hell but I'm slowly getting over it. My new Silverado is pretty sweet.
