from pasadena, texas. i plan on asking questions, postin pics and what i learn, as i get her how i want.

just picked up my 2012 silverado yesterday from monument chevrolet in pasadena...


dropped her off an hour later to get front windows legal tinted and over the rail bedlined at international audio in deer park...


picked her up today and installed sfxperformance black billet emblems...



not sure bout the front one tho, not sittin as flush as i would like. i emailed them to ask if i should have orded the nonborder one instead of the bordered one that they suggested...


within the next few months (in no particular order) i plan to install black 68" hilift slidenlock tie downs(should be here next week), iron cross hd steps (once i get a look at some at their local dealer), paint the chrome part of the grill black (if i can get it off without breaking it), try to install a leveling kit myself, underrearseat subs, and heavy duty front and rear bumpers.
i'll post up before/after and during (if applicable) to hopefully help out.

i'm still new to this whole technology thing so bear with me as i learn.

i seem to have deleted part of my post as i was figuring out how to post pics.

i got the emblems from sfxperformance.com. $60ish dollars for both if i remember correctly. great customer service.

after she was delivered i had the side moldings and emblems removed, the rear emblems removed except for the LTZ, dual GM dvd headrests installed and the Texas Edition emblem added at the dealer.

not a factory Texas Edition. she's my version of a "Texas Edition". i'm not a fan of chrome and that was the only way they came. so i just ordered her the way i wanted.

nice truck you got there. i like the ptm grille shell. i've been trying to save for one for my truck since i've owned it. something always seems to come up so i end up having to spend it.
