New (to me) 05 Silverado Z71 LT3 Black

Postby jwicker [OP] » Jun 30 2010, 3:51am

I posted about a potential 06 Z71 with 3" BL and 35's. It sold for FAR more than I was willing to pay.

BUT - I located and bought another one Friday.
It arrives tomorrow morning at 8AM (auto transport delivering it to my house).

Pictures of it can be found here:
http://s257.photobucket.com/albums/hh20 ... -%20BLACK/

It's got 125k, new Uniroyals, LT3, tri-fold bed cover, rubber bed mat, rubber floor mats.

I think I got a great deal on it....but I'd appreciate some comments on what you think a fair price would have been.... (just want to make sure I did well).

Happy to be a new member too !

Eventually, I'd like to put a 2" BL and 33's.
(or crank the torsion bars and add blocks)

Thanks
jon

Welcome to the forum. That's a beauty of a truck and BLACK, too. Both of mine are black and I spend most of my time washing and waxing. Have fun!

Nice looking truck! I love the black and I myself wanted a black and instead got a white one. You do have to put a little more effort in keeping black clean but keep it waxed and it will look awesome!

Im not sure what the trim model it is but my truck has leather, sunroof, center console, dic, on star, front power seats, heated seats, memory seats, bose stereo w/6 disc changer and its 4wd z71 crew cab. Everything is stock except it came with a k&n air filter and tinted windows. I bought it with around 57,000 miles on it and I payed $16,200. Its an 06. Hope this helps give you an idea. Nice truck by the way. Mines like midnight blue. I would have preffered white or red but oh well i can always paint it later..

That is a great looking truck. That is NOT an LT though, sorry. An LT3. You don't have heated leather, (full) power seats, sunroof, etc. That would be an LT3. I'd say that's an LT2 considering it's got the Bose and buckets though.

Given that, and the miles, A fair price for that truck would be between $12k-$14k. I say that because I picked up a very similar 2004 for just under $10k myself with only a few more miles on it.
