Ok, so truck is a 2004 silverado 6.0 gas. It has been tuned, recently purchased a month ago.

When I start the truck up and drive short distances 10 or 15 miles everything is fine. Once the motors been running for a bit at full temperature the tachometer goes from reading accurately to reading 1k RPM or 500 RPM when I know i'm cruising at 1900 to 2000 (70mph with 37" tires) any ideas?

Does anyone know what would cause my truck to die when I press the gas and try to jump on it? I have to press the gas slow to get it up in speed and the check engine light keeps going off and flashing when it comes back on?? And when I do press the gas hard, you can hear the motor riv up but it just won't go...

Didn't see a thread about this so I figured I'd make one. I'm getting tint done this week and would like to see some pictures of what you have done to your truck. I am going at least 20% on the front...the back I'm going to have the guy tint over the factory tint so it gets down to 5-10%, whatever percentage he needs to put over factory to achieve that.

My ABS light keeps turning on and off....I can hear the ABS motor pulsing when I apply the brakes then the light turns on....any ideas of what it could be...thank you

Has anyone changed the rear drum braks on the NBS trucks I got 99,000 miles on the original brakes figured I would change them. Wondering if it's about the same as the mid 80's model drum brakes were.

Ok here is a weird one. Have a 07 silverado with factory radio and cd player.

Radio works and then does not work. Or I should say it works but at a very low volume level and only through the roof post speakers. Also noticed that when the radio is haveing this issue the open door chimes also are very weak or do not work.

Then it may come on and everything works. Very fustrating.

2006 silverado 4x4 6.0L the fuse for dash lights keep blowing, it is the TBC 2A 15A, it goes to the BCM Body Control Module do i just replace this module?

I have an 2011 ext. cab 6.2L. I am looking at Corsa DB series dual rear exit exhaust and they only specify it for crew cabs. The two share the same wheel base so if it fits on a crew cab it should fit on an ext. cab right??? However the guys at auto anything.com say it will not fit, and I have not received a response from Corsa. Any help??

The time has come to change my transfer case and differential fluid in my 07.5 Silverado 1500.

I wondering if I should go with the oem fluids or if I should use lucas oil.

Thoughts?
