Ok, my truck coded today for P0174 and P0171. Possible causes...MAF, fuel pressure, O2 sensor, misfire and injector.

No misfire or rough running, did find the clamp on the Volant intake filter broken and the filter laying in the box, MAF was clogged with bugs and dirt. Cleaned it, replaced clamp and cleared codes, it's not come back yet. Now my concerns, how long has it been like that, I'm not sure. My worry is ...

Guys, BEFORE you update your inTune to the latest, RESTORE ORIGINAL BACK-UP!
I did not and my truck is wiped out, tunes from tuner are also gone. I am not the only one this happened to but don't want to see it happen to anyone else. DS posted directions on their forum but failed to mention to return to stock tune for this update.

I have a silverado 1500 with a 4.8l in it but I want to drop a 350 in it. Is this duable? I found a crate for a decent price. I need a intake for it. Is it compatible with a 4.8l? Here is a picture of my fuel pump. I cannot find this style of fuel pump anywhere online. I'm kind of in a money crunch so i'm trying to save some cash by buying it online. Does anybody have any ideas where I can find one with the same wiring as this one?

i`ll be changing the intake gaskets on this engine, and i just changed the oil two days ago. should i replace the oil and leave the new filter that i installed too?

I bought my truck a few months ago and have put about 3,000 miles on it since buying it. The truck has 223,000 miles and i have no idea what kind of oil it has had in the past.
What would be a safe oil to go with? Ive heard that its not a good idea to go synthetic with a high mileage vehicle. I usually go with castrol gtx and a fram filter.
