I know theres a ton of questions about exhaust but I was hoping someone could answer me fairly quickly.

Do I have two cats?
If I bought two flowmaster series 10s would they fit side by side as true duals under the truck?
Would anyone suggest turndowns?
If not turndowns, what do you prefer?

I know this topic has been beat to death, but I am looking to replace the muffler on my Sierra, and am trying to decide between a Flowmaster 40 or a 50. I like the sound of a 40, but have heard stories of interior resonance at certain rpms. Havent really heard anything about the 50s. Ive researched the different sounds on youtube, but that doesnt tell me anything about interior sound. Can anyone here ...

Went to get a cat back system yesterday and the shop said it would be a waste of money to buy the cat back because 2011 silverados/sierras already come with a 3" inch pipe. He said just a 1 in dual out would give me the same results.

Any truth to this?

I've decided on Flowmaster Super 44's for my 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 HD.I will be doing a true duel system and I don't want to lose any power or torque in doing so. Do I need to buy 3"IN and 2.5" mufflers or will I be fine with 3"In/Out?

Hey. Im looking to upgrade stock exhaust but not looking for lots of noise. Want fuel mileage and not something really loud. Its 2500HD 2wd Crewcab. What setup will make my truck the loudest it can possibly be? I currently have a flowmaster cat back american thunder series (model number 17428). Its kinda loud but not where i would like it to be.
Will getting rid of the muffler do damage to the motor? Ive heard that the cats also restrict how loud the exhaust is too.
