2005 2500HD Front Hub Swap

I did a search and I could not find another hub swap article.

Requirements:
• Skill Level: Anyone who is capable of swapping brake pads
• Time: 2-3 hours per hub
• Special Tools: Half inch drive socket set (metric and standard) up to 22mm. You will need a 36mm socket for the cv shaft hub nut. Section of pipe for leverage or a good breaker bar.

How to Change brake pads and rotors DIY Video

Here is a video I made as I changed the pads and rotors on my NNBS 2007.5 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT. The pads I used were Hawk LTS, (from ebay) and the rotors were purchased from Autopartswarehouse.com, they were OE spec replacments. Total cost for front pads and rotors $150 and a few hours.

How to Apply a DIY Bedliner

Thought i would do a DIY on my Dupli-color Bed Armor Kit.
You will need....
1- Dupli-Color kit
1-HD scotch bright package with 2 pads
1- small can of Denatured Alcohol or Acetone
1- roll of 1" Blue painters tape
A bucket of water
A few rags
And some rubber gloves
And 1 full day of nice weather to complete along with some beer of choice.

How to Properly Debadge your Truck and/or Paint Emblems

Heatgun or blow dryer
Fishing line
Goo-Gone
rough and smooth sided sponges
Soap and water

1) Gather Materials:

- Blue Painters Tape
- Newspaper or Printer Paper
- A very small flat head screwdriver or tool
