Help!!! The radio manual only says the dimmer wire goes to light switch but it doesn't tell you how to connect to it. Do i simply splice into one of the wires at the switch or is their more to it. Please save me before i blow something up.

I've had this 2004 GMC Sierra crew cab for a couple of weeks.I love the truck(fully loaded) It has the Bose system w/ the 6 disc CD changer. I've noticed that twice this week the clock has reset to 12:00 for no apparent reason.Has anyone else had this problem?If so what is the cure?

I got an 91' Silverado and put-in a radio with cassette player, everything works fine, just 1 thing I can't locate a set-button, so I can adjust the clock.

Does anyone know ?

I relocated my USB port to the upper glove box in my truck. I knew if I left it in the dash I'd eventually bump into it and snap the drive right off. I installed an aftermarket satellite radio system in my old truck. When I had the issue of the antenna being blocked by the truck camper, I posted on this forum, and got a solution. I routed another hood mounted antenna which could be flipped on top of and back under the hood as needed. All that was required was to switch plugs on the dash mounted radio. It worked awesome.
