I finished installing some Gibson stainless steel shorty headers on my 2000 1500 5.3, and everything went just as planned on the installation. The only problem is there is a knock, and it sounds like it is coming from the passenger side. I am trying to figure out my camping mirrors and why they wont fold. when i put the selector in the middle the switch lights up the folding icon. when i push to the left the only thing that happens is the mirrors adjust downwards. no folding. if i push to the right again it adjust down even more. it will adjust 3 times before reaching its limit. when i push in any other directions ...

Recently purchased a 2001 Silverado , when changing the rear diff. oil a notice a plate rivet to side use syn 10-40 fluid. checking with dealer an others use .75-120 syn. gear lube. Did g m make a change or am i misinformed. Does anyone know the correct fluid / lube. does have posi rear.

Ok so I have a question...I came across a few extra bucks and am wondering if it is even possible to change my 2011 silver ado 2X4 into a 4X4? If this is even possible how much do you think this will run me? And no I do not want to trade it in for a different truck...only want to know if I can actually change this. Any wisdom will be appreciated.

When turning the steering wheel I get a almost grinding sounding noise. It's the common noise problem when steering, we've all seen it. I'm wondering if anybody has a more "permanent" fix for this, when I spray silicone spray the problem is back in two days or so.

A buddy of mine blew his 5.3L in his 1999 Chevy Z71 and needs a motor. Does anyone know a good source for one? From what I understand...just a good short or long block is needed and he want to find one with the lowest miles possible for under $1,000.
