Hi all, is there anything made out of tubular metal that will fit in the stake holes on my truck, the reason I need them is to attach a ladder rack I purchased that wants me to screw it into the bed cap, I would rather weld the tubular metal to the bracket and then use it that way. Your help is appreciated.

Last weekend I applied Rain-X to all of my windows. I love the way my windows shed water when I use Rain-X. I have never had a problem using it before.
When it rained yesterday, the wipers chattered so bad, they barely cleaned the window, and I thought a wiper arm was going to break. I tried re-cleaning the glass, and I wiped down the rubber wipers with Stoners invisible Glass. It did not help. ...

Does anyone have one of these chips fitted and how do you find them, I see they are on off for $69.00 from $399. they claim to save 4 to 7 MPG. What is the downside if any. You help is as usual much appreciated

I'm pleased with the mileage of my 2011 GMC Sierra Hybrid 1500 4x4.

My 2011 GMC Sierra Hybrid 1500 came with a Soft Tonneau Cover.
It wasn't on the vehicle when it was delivered, I held my ground and the dealer obtained one to put on (since it was considered standard equipment on the Hybrid).

My experience with these years ago was limited to the snaps down the side rail.

so anyone know how good or what all is in base gas? i havent seen any stickers saying 10% ethenol, oxygenate, chevron with techron, scrubbing bubbles, etc. im in california there cant be real gas avalible to me can there?

My truck runs great, except every once in a while my check engine light comes on and reads that both bank 1 and 2 are running too lean. But throws no other codes. I want to drop just the rear of my Silverado. One guy, said I'd best not it would throw off everything. Currently it is 8" from tire to fender, has a 5" lift extension at the spring and has a 1,500# over load spring under each spring shackle.
I want to remove the overload spring and the extension.
