So I ordered the BedTred Liner from RealTruck.com, and I got it for only $348 with free shipping. It was the best deal I could find online.

I'm excited to have this as I can't wait to use the bed of my truck, I don't want to scratch up that new Imperial Blue Bed :p .

When I get it I will have some pics of the install.

While we wait, anyone already have the BedTred and can discuss. Or maybe even discuss looking into getting one.

BedTred seems like a great option if you do not want to do the spray-in liner type deal.

I echo mr lbz- my truck came with Auto Armor sprayed on the bed, and it's a great product. If you saved money by doing the drop-in route, than that's fine; I personally don't really care what's lining my bed as long as it's durable, and that's what Auto Armor is.

I started the thread EKinMN linked here and the reason why I prefer the removable route is that if it gets trashed you don't have a permanently damaged bed liner or even one that has been sprayed over to try and bring it back to life or cover the damage. That stuff only gets heavier everytime you spray on another coat. That and I really like the idea that it is soft which will reduce a hard blow to the metal below and if desired can be sold off when trading in, which will show off that you truck has been taken care of when your bed looks brand new. I plan on picking one up after returning from deployment (that's if I don't end up with a Sig P290 instead).

Ha! I already have my Sig P220. I love it. Got tritium sights and a rubberized grip with it. Not to be outdone, my wife went and bought a Kimber with built in laser.

BTW, I put the Duraback bedliner in my truck with a roller. I've had to re-apply a coat last spring and do touch-ups with some spray cans. The Duraback system only cost me a little over a $100 but you get what you pay for. I can't complain.

Not to be off topic, but both the 220 and Kimber as great guns. I am a huge fan of the Springfield XD line (I have an XDm 40, XD 40 sc, and XD 9sc). The new P290 is only an inch longer than the extremely popular P238 380acp so that will be the wifes when she decides she wants one, the 290 is mine!lol

On topic, the Power Block pushes the Dupli-Color roll in, I just don't know if I would be happy with as big of a perfectionist I am. I would have to pay to have it done so I can blame any problems with it on someone else which is only making the BedTred more appealing.

Rymannh24, let us know what you think of it when it comes in and you get it installed. Also looking forward to some pic's that aren't from the manufacture.

I think I'm about to "pull the trigger" and buy one of these too. I had considered the standard Bedrug but after seeing the post about the Bedtred I think I like it more. I'll be curious to see how you like it and how easy it is to install. My plan is to put that and a soft tonneau cover on the truck at the same time. I don't regularly haul anything other than the family and some occasional big, bulky items so it should work out great for me.

We all gotta do what we want to make our trucks look the best. Thats why there are thousands of products available. I actually had a guy come up to me the other day and ask me why i wasted my money on a tonneau cover for my truck since i have the toolbox and it looks goofy. I told him u dont make the payments, so dont worry about it lol. I hope it turns out great get us lots of pix and a good how to
