This morning I was looking over my window sticker and noticed that I have the "Z85 Handling/Trailering suspension" I was wondering if any of you could tell me what this is about?
I bet it a good thing...lol....

Well, I did a google search and found this. Seems like a confusing subject so say the least...Or maybe not.....
"Well it sits a bit higher 1-2" and has stiffer springs and thicker swaybars. That's all I noticed when visually comparing."
"smooth ride has smaller diameter shocks too."
"I've got the Z85 on my quad cab 4x4 and I love the ride. In my opinion it rides as well as, if not better, than dodge's hyrdoform frame w/20" wheels on the new trucks. I had an 02 Ram with the 20" wheels and that thing rode great!! When I test drove my Chevy both my wife and I thought it rode just as well as the Dodge did. I think the Z85 rides nice!! Just my .02"
"Your Z-71 package includes 46mm shocks, off-road jounce bumpers, stabilizer bars and skid plates, so it's going to be a much firmer suspension, and you'll feel that it's a little tighter and more rigid, while the Z-85 mainly consists of just 36mm piston monotube shocks, to enhance toungue weight and handling when the trailer is on the back. Handling with just the Z-85 will be about the same as the regular Silverado Classic."
